Best Tourism NDC award

The SIM project was honoured with the prestigious "Best Tourism NDC Investment Initiative of the Year" award during the African NDC Investment Summit & Awards held at COP27 in Egypt. Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) are self-determined goals set by countries to combat and alleviate the impacts of climate change. The recognition was bestowed upon the Sustainable Island Mauritius project in acknowledgment of its commendable efforts in promoting circular, sustainable, inclusive, and regenerative tourism.

Tourism Authority
